Exciting news!!

Hey everyone, Hope all is well for everyone. I like the idea of Mexico...I've never been and would love to hang out on the beach. Yay!! Anyway, I thought I'd share my excitement with all of you and tell you that Ty and I are finally engaged! Some of you hopefully remember Ty from our family reunion up in Whistler....well he wasn't actually in Whistler but he came over to our house to hang out when we got back. Anyone who hasn't met him, I would love you to meet him soon. We're thinking about getting married labour day weekend (September 5th or 6th), possibly on Vancouver Island. I would love you all to come. Anyway, just wanted to let you all know. Love Jemina

You are Invited!!

Hey Family,

Just wanted to share with you Christopher's FIRST birthday invitation! And of course, if you are in town, nearby or want to fly in ... YOU ARE SOOOO WELCOME!! I don't think you will be able to read the first part which says, "Step right up, come on down, Christopher's Carnival has come to town! There'll be food and games and tons of fun, Cause' the Litte Peanut is turning ONE!" =) With love, Jon, Andrea and Christopher!

Canadian Curling Dream Team!

Hi All! Sorry to tell you all that you missed a fabulous weekend in the great white North. The Klassens (Chris, Jul, Chelsea, Isabelle and Joyce) and Moore's (Scott, Sheri & Madalyn) spent the weekend at the cottage in Marmora. Jul almost led her team of curlers to a victory but their utter lack of skill and experience led to their ultimate demise. Luckily the free drinks and cookies were enough to buoy their spirits and make them feel like winners anyway. Chelsea, Isabelle, Maddie and I kept ourselves busy while the curlers were away by building snow forts and drinking hot chocolate. Jul and I kicked biscuit (I think it's catching on Chelsey!) at President's and Slaves (aka "Prime Ministers and Public Servants" here in Canada or "Big Biscuit, Little Biscuit" in California). We finished the weekend off with near California temperatures of 2 degrees C! that allowed us to spend all day outside on Sunday, skating and pummelling each other with snowballs. Jon, Alison, Mike and Chelsey...you would have been proud. I could have tripped Jul into a facewash but she pulled the old "stop, stop, I'm pregnant!" act. Anyway, just wanted to keep you in the loop and give you a little Canadian news, since you never get it on TV! Miss you all. -Sheri PS. Jul - see if you can post a few of those pic's you took on the weekend.
